About Geniecare Homes
Geniecare Homes is a grouping of locally owned and managed care homes with nursing in the south west area specifically in Bristol, Gloucester & Wiltshire. Established in 1998 with purchase of The Worthies Residential Home, over 20 years later we now operate eight care homes across Bristol, Gloucester and Wiltshire. In this time, the group has been led by Managing Director Mrs Shen Butt and Richard Butt, and more recently with the assistance of her sons Rad and Shah. We are truly a family business and we pride ourselves in providing a family orientated environment for our residents.
Our homes have a history of providing person centred residential and nursing care for adults with dementia and older adults who require general nursing care. Our philosophy is simple, it is the right of each lady and gentleman in our care:

- to receive person centred care based on preferences and informed choice
- to feel part of a community
- to have their voice heard and be involved in their own decisions
